On this momentous day, dignitaries and business leaders gathered for the Welcome Dinner of the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation and the 4th China-Africa Economic and Trade Expo, a high-level engagement underscoring the deepening ties between China and Africa.
The event was graced by H.E. Wang Yi, a seasoned Chinese diplomat currently serving as Director of the Chinese Communist Party Central Committee Foreign Affairs Commission Office and Minister of Foreign Affairs of China. Representing Nigeria was the Honourable Minister of Foreign Affairs, Amb. Yusuf Maitama Tuggar, who led the Nigerian delegation with vision and diplomatic strength. (Dr.) Umaru Kwairanga, Chairman of the Nigerian Exchange Group (NGX), and Chief Diana Chen, Chairman of CIG Motors Group—both of whom play pivotal roles in advancing Nigeria-China business relations.
Among the rising voices helping shape the future of Africa is Jubril Arogundade, a passionate advocate for automotive innovation and sustainability. His work is focused on bridging green technology and industrial development, particularly in the automotive sector, positioning Africa not just as a consumer but a contributor to the future of mobility.
